I want to continue to grow, to take care of my body, and most importantly, love myself.

The Beginning
Ever since I could remember, I struggled with my body image. I always knew I was different compared to the other girls with my broad shoulders, and muscular short legs. I understood from the very beginning that I did not fit in, I did not fit the beauty standard that was shown everywhere. Of course, like so many other girls, it was very easy to look around, and feel ashamed that I did not look like any of the skinny beautiful models. Through this insecurity, I also had a bad relationship with food. I loved food, but I used unhealthy foods as an excuse to cope with with my self-esteem.
However, this past year has been so important to me. I have grown, I have changed, and my mindset has transformed into this self-love towards myself. And that is where my journey begins :)


Today
Today, even though I am 40 pounds lighter, even though I know what to eat, even though I love working out, I still struggle!
And that it totally okay.
I am so proud of my growth, and who I am as a person. I have and know the necessary tools to pick myself up when I do struggle.
I hope to continue to teach and inspire others through my struggles of doubt, and treat my body with the best care.
